It's been a while since I updated my journal. I have been on here quite often lately and writing responses on the forums. About to go draw for a few hours since I have the apartment to myself for the night! I've started a eye (how original) realism of course, and the reason why I decided to take this on because I drew a eye about 2 years ago and I want to see how much I've learned and grew as a artist. I love comparing pictures from past and present, really shows me what I've learned through my studies at school and just practicing everyday. Ugh so tuesday I got into a very bad accident (first accident and hopefully my last), I was stopped at a red light and someone wasn't paying attention and slammed the back of my car going 65 mph and never stopped. My car was smashed into the intersection and luckily at the moment no cars were driving across so I was very lucky. I went to the hospital and got my back/neck/shoulders checked for any spinal damage and luckily there was nothing and I'll be okay. I am very sore and was in excruciating pain but have been getting better as the days go by. The guy's car got completely towed but my gf's car got damaged pretty badly, over $6000 dollars

As of last week I have been the happiest person alive! On Wednesday I received an acceptance letter to The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. I thought that this school would SO deny me since they are such an awesome art school. I literally cried! My dream was to get out of this stupid community college that i know I don't belong in and get my ass to a Art school in the city and that has finally come true. I'm still waiting to hear back from one more school (FIT) which is also in the city and either way, whichever one I go to it will be amazing!!
